Vintages - Dec 8th Release - Update

Interesting… The Vintages website has the listings for the release this weekend. It's split in two sections - the main release and "Our Finest". The Icons section holds the interesting collection of wines that will be available (other than the champagnes).

What caught my eye is that the pricing appears to be adjusted compared to what appeared in VintageAssessments earlier.

For example, the 2004 Caymus Special Selection is $156.95 and the 2003 Montelena Estate Cab is $124.95.

That brings the LCBO pricing inline with the cost of the wine down south. I can't believe I just typed that sentence for a Californian offering. The $156.95 includes tax so it compares with a US price of $133 and according to Wine-Searcher.com, that's a very good price.
