I just came across this press release about a new release of ice cider from Domaine Pinnacle here in Ontario. I haven't tried this particular cider but I've wanted to try more ice ciders from Quebec and this one might do the trick.
Has anyone tried this one? Any other recommendations?

Founded in 2000, it has rapidly become the world's leading producer of ice cider-the apple equivalent of grape-based icewine. Hi Ken. I was given a bottle of this from a Quebecois couple which are friends 2 or 3 winters ago. It was quite interesting, very intense & sweet and while not my favourite dessert wine, it did match well with some cheeses. I recall at the time Pinnacle is the largest (or one of) Ice Cider makers in Quebec. Not sure if that reflects the quality or not.

I tried Domaine Pinnacle Ice Cider and it is truly quite amazing. Complex, rich and balanced. Really a must try.
